Special Interests

    Jess has a keen interest in exercise-based interventions aimed at enhancing functional strength and mobility, grounded in her belief that ‘exercise is medicine.’ With a background in Myotherapy, she continues to explore myofascial pain and the treatment of soft tissue injuries. As a Lecturer, Jess is deeply committed to fostering equitable practices in physiotherapy education, with a particular focus on health professions education and inclusive pedagogies. She is also a PhD candidate investigating the role of technology in the teaching of touch-based practices for health professional students.
